Product overview

The Meta Quest 3S is a standalone virtual and mixed-reality headset that runs apps directly on the device. It is powered by a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor with 8 GB of RAM and is available with 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.

Two full-color cameras provide passthrough, so digital content can be placed in the real room, while additional sensors support controller-free hand tracking. The display offers 1832 × 1920 pixels per eye with 72, 90 and 120 Hz refresh rates. It comes with Meta Quest Touch Plus controllers that use haptic feedback, and the built-in battery gives about 2.5 hours of average use.

Meta sets a minimum age of 10 for Quest headsets; accounts for 10–12-year-olds require parental approval and include parental supervision tools and age-appropriate app access. In schools it can support immersive science, geography and design experiences under adult supervision.

The LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Set is a hands-on STEAM kit designed for lower-secondary classrooms. Its 528 pieces combine colourful LEGO® bricks with a programmable hub, motors and sensors, so students can design and build working models and robots and then control them with code. Programming is done in the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ App, which starts with Scratch-based drag-and-drop blocks and lets students move on to text-based Python when they are ready. Activities range from easy entry projects to open-ended design challenges that build problem-solving, critical thinking and teamwork, whatever a student's starting level. The set is supported by more than 50 hours of curriculum-aligned learning inside the app, together with classroom activities, getting-started materials and teacher resources. It suits regular lessons, coding clubs and FIRST® LEGO® League teams, and can be extended with the SPIKE™ Prime Expansion Set.
