Product overview

The SPIKE™ Prime Full System Bundle pairs one LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Set (45678) with one SPIKE™ Prime Expansion Set (45681). Together they form the complete SPIKE™ Prime system for a pair of students, a home learner or a competition team.

The core set provides 528 elements, including a programmable Large Hub with a six-axis gyro, three motors (one large and two medium) and distance, force and colour sensors. The expansion adds more than 600 LEGO® Technic and System elements, including a second Large Motor, a second Colour Sensor, two large wheels, gear racks and a Maker Plate for mounting single board computers.

Models are coded in the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ App, starting with Scratch-based blocks and moving on to Python. The combination gives access to more than 50 hours of core learning plus over 10 hours of competition-focused lessons, making it well suited to FIRST® LEGO® League preparation.

    SPIKE™ Prime Set

Among the additions are two large wheels, gear racks, an extra Large Motor and an extra Colour Sensor, plus a Maker Plate that makes it quick and simple to mount single board computing (SBC) devices of your choice onto LEGO® models.
